My campus ghost (?) stories

I have heard of so many campus ghost stories but it was only this semester that I began to experience something that made me consider that maybe the stories were true.

First story
I attended a media elective class last night. Since it was an elective outside comres, I expected not to know anyone there except the professor. Upon entering the classroom, there were already about 7 people there at wala nga akong kilala. So I sat down quietly and immediately noticed the strong scent of.... flowers. The scent of flowers I always associate with funerals and wakes. Ano nga palang bulaklak, I looked around and saw that the other students seem to be oblivious to it so I shrugged it off and just texted some friends. After 10 minutes the prof came in and slightly shrieked. She said, "Oh my, it smells of flowers in here! Why does it smell flowers here?!" Walang umimik. Ako naman nakatitig na sa kanya wondering why she was freaked out by the smell. Then she said, "You see, my mother-in-law died last night. Kaya I'm just going to talk to you guys for an hour then I have to leave na." I didn't freak out or anything. Probably because I've had several experiences of smelling flowers and candles when somebody I know just passed away. Ang iniisip ko kasi, it's better to smell something than actually SEE SOMETHING... OR SOMEONE.

Second Story
Speaking of seeing something or someone, I met up with some comres classmates for a research elective tonight. As soon as we entered the classroom, a classmate whispered, "Alam niyo, may multo talaga sa building na ito." That's when I shrieked and told her about the flower scent last night in the other classroom. Then she goes, "Well, this is worse. I actually SAW someone." Last week, her Thursday class was held inside the comres department, since lilima lang naman daw sila sa class. As they were seated by the conference table, she looked at the farthest side of the department office (this was around 6 to 8 p.m., so all of the other offices of the professors were vacant already). According to her, she saw a man standing at a dark corner of the room. Although she couldn't see his face, she was sure it was a man since he was wearing a native hat, checkered shirt and pants. She didn't say anything to anyone but she did ask the professor if there were ghosts in the department office. Sabi niya, meron daw.

Naku, puro gabi pa naman ang classes ko this sem. Yung Saturday class ko, sa hapon naman. Scary.
