kung hei fat choi to me!

Got this gift from Gladys. I actually chose this chick-lit book and told Gladys to buy it for me... last December. Am afraid the title is the story of my life -- or maybe if it says "Always the Coordinator". Hehehe.

Found my favorite brand of sunflower seeds at Trinoma Mall's Chinese New Year kiosks yesterday. My favorite ninang made me taste a couple of seeds a few years ago and now I crave for a bag everytime I visit a Chinese deli. Ate a few seeds while I watched the clock strike 12. Am officially middle-aged -- according to a classmate's researchpaper. Will eat more seeds.

Kung Hei Fat Choi to me, Kung Hei Fat Choi to me, Kung Hei Fat Choi, Kung Hei Fat Choi, Kung Hei Fat Choi to me. Of course I had to wear red today -- for luck!

The family had dinner at Fish & Co. Nice color scheme, di ba? Check out the girl on the left who seemed to be picking her nose. Hehehe.

I forgot to take shots of the food until we were almost done. Good thing JR and Joan arrived late so their food were still intact for my blog pics. Counterclockwise: Seafood Curry, Fried Calamari (the best thing in the menu), Fish and Chips, and Grilled Porkchops.

Had coffee at one of my favorite restos -- Dome Cafe.

The mall was closing early. Some shops didn't even bother to open. Ang dami yatang shops na Chinese ang may-ari. Hehehe.

The Chinese horoscope said that the Year of the Rat is a good year for people born in the Year of the Ox. Yehey! Will wear red all year.

Hey, is the year of the rat good for those born on the year of the rat? Ya know, by default?
