Tourist-y destination

Had to bring Balb to one of our favorite hang-out places -- Tiendesitas. Knew that a balikbayan and an active blogger like her would enjoy the food, Filipiniana shops and the very Filipino theme of the sprawling mall. Siyempre, I couldn't resist taking a shot of the Christmas lanterns still being sold at the shops.

Balb checked out trinkets she could bring as pasalubong for her friends in Canada. I left the task of helping her shop to master shoppers Gladys and Chet.

Beautifully carved wooden benches are all over Tiendesitas. Napaupo kami dun sa may mahangin na lugar -- katabi kasi ng C-5 highway eh.
For ignorant people like me. I really couldn't tell one kind of rice grain from another. And this shop just sells the ones that came from Ifugao.

Another favorite snack shop of mine -- Sitsirya, which sells, well, sitsirya. Hehehe. Balb bought bottles of Filipino fruit jams though.
